Cranmore Mountain Resort is about 3 miles away, with Attitash and Black Mountain about 6 miles and Wildcat roughly 15 miles up Route 16 in Pinkham Notch.

Story Land in Glen is just minutes from Intervale, and the Conway Scenic Railroad runs historic train rides from its station in North Conway village.
Hikes & waterfalls
Diana's Baths, Echo Lake State Park, Cathedral Ledge and Glen Ellis Falls are all close by, and the Mount Washington Auto Road is about 13 miles north.
Village & outlets

North Conway through the seasons
Winter
Peak ski season runs roughly December through March. Roads in the hills can be steep and snowy, so AWD or 4x4 is strongly recommended.
Spring
Quieter weeks, spring skiing and rushing waterfalls as the snow melts. A good time for value and availability.
Summer
Swimming holes on the Saco River, Story Land, hiking and paddling. School-vacation weeks book early.
Fall
Foliage season, usually late September into mid-October, is one of the busiest times of year. The Kancamagus Highway (Route 112) is a classic scenic drive.

Do I need a 4x4 or AWD in winter?
For Peak & Pine Retreat we highly recommend 4x4 or AWD in winter. The road and driveway are dirt and on a hill; they are plowed throughout the season.
Is it cheaper to book direct?
